Client Project Manager - Mentice
In early 2018, the software engineering need extended to also completely cover projects - leading and developing. In addition to the development tasks we also covered direct contact to clients and comletion of their projects.
Purpose was to manage external development projects to implement a desired procedure or device in the VIST simulation environment. This includes taking full responsibility for the project, in the development phases Specification, Analysis, Implementation and Release. Further to maintain and develop Mentice software products and functionalities within both customer- and internally oriented projects. Ability to both manage and handle the development of a complete development project.
- Manage new client-oriented procedure development. To scope, lead and assess both smaller and medium size projects.
- Organize and perform customer reviews, both in our office, and at the customer’s sites. The position will involve some international travel.
- The development team to be managed are primarily SW developers, but a HW component (handle modification) is necessary in some projects.
- Verification and testing of the product, along with transfer of project/product knowledge to other departments, including Service and Sales is part of the release process for a development project.
